Traveling makes us richer from another unique experience. Some destinations are more memorable than others. In fact, some destinations seem magical. The State of New Mexico is one of those destinations. The raw beauty of the landscape, the seemingly never ending horizons, and the light are a combination rarely found anywhere else in the world. Being present in this place results in an inspiration of what beauty nature can provide.

In addition to the beauty that nature has given to the land, the presence of an ancient Indian civilization and culture seems to prove that New Mexico truly provides qualities and secrets that cannot be found elsewhere.

Tenative architecture, based upon the land and designed to flow into the colors and shapes of the land is yet another beautiful aspect of this area. All of this has served as an inspirational source for my sense of creativity.

While traveling there, I decided to capture as many images as possible of the unspeakable beauty of the land, the buildings, and the people. This goal proved not to be easy to complete because every view, every corner, and every person during every part of the day seemed to offer its own special image. My biggest challenge was to select only a few of the many images to try to represent what I saw and felt.

Technically, the beauty of New Mexico was so prevalent, I only had to aim the camera without much effort to find an interesting image. As a result, I captured hundreds of images. While reviewing these many images, I decided I wanted to share some of what I found with others. Just as I found New Mexico to be a unique place, I was inspired to try to create a series of unique images in which I hope to contribute to the magical impression of that state.

Although most of my images may appear to be abstract, they are in fact images from nature including sunsets, mountainscapes, stormy skies, pueblo Indian villages, and rivers. In a word, New Mexico.

I hope you, the viewer, may find some of the images pleasing, attractive, and as inspiring as I did while creating them.
